First Annual Schow Family Reunion

It's already here! We have a very open agenda that can be changed at any time, so we will just go day to day and see how it flows. (Can you tell I don't have a red personality?)

So far, we have:
Thursday night: can stay in Uncle Mark's condo. Just let him know.
Friday day: Meet at Ideal Beach as early as you want. We are going to crash at Chris and Steve's place. We can swim at the pool or the beach, golf at 1:20 (I think) and lunch will be provided by Jan. (Taco Salads)
Friday night: Reservations have been made at Hampton Inn,1665 No. Main St. Logan.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is noon.
Saturday morning: continental breakfast, family meeting TBA-to deicide what everyone would like to do. I think Mark is making some golf reservations, Jeri has a list of shopping, hikes and tubing down the Logan River and other things that we can do.
Saturday afternoon: Meet for lunch provided by Linda (sandwiches)
Saturday night: Eat where ever you want and put children to bed early.
Sunday morning: Continental breakfast. Church at 10:40 or 12:30 at Bear Lake
Sunday afternoon: Lunch by Jeri. (hamburgers and hotdogs) Crash at Chris and Steve's for as long as you want to stay.
Looking forward to a fun filled weekend with my Schow relatives!!

Calcite Springs Overlook
Grandma and Grandpa Barnes took us to Yellowstone yesterday. What a beautiful and fun day we had! We even saw some places we had never seen before.

Here is Rachel at the 4th of July parade.

Tyler was on staff at Cedar Badge for the 3rd year, and next year got picked to be on the board of directors.

Anybody want a little Cash?

After 26 hours of labor...Cash was forced into the world. He was really stuck and the doctor had to pull him out using every trick in the book.

CASH WILLIAM NOYES
Born April 25, 2009 at 10:18 pm
8 lbs 15 oz
20 1/2 inches long
The only time he cried in the hospital was when we took him out from underneath the heat lamp!

Cash loves to be warm and comfortable. If you want a good snuggle, come on over...he's your guy!!!

Some More Pictures of Olivia (and Josie)

I had the opportunity to take some pictures of new baby Olivia and Josie a couple of weeks ago.  It was so fun to visit with Christin, Annie, and Megan for HOURS (I completely overstayed my welcome).  I love visiting with other women and swapping birthing stories.  We had such a great time, and Olivia and Josie are simply adorable!  Here are a few pictures, but there are more on my photo blog.  See you all (at least the girls) next weekend!

Olivia joins the family

So if my mom ever asks, I put these pictures up a month ago.

Olivia Kai Russell was born 12/27/08. I have no idea how much she weighed or how long she was. Sorry! But here's what she looked like:

Congrats Christin and Steve!

Another football game...

Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Phoenix: We stopped in Washington, UT (near St. George) to spend the night with Theron's grandparents. They showed us around some of the facilities. Logan loved playing on the playground. He hasn't had much opportunity to run around outside since he didn't walk until winter.
Here he is being silly on the car ride as we left St.George. He was pretty good in the car as long as we kept the food and drinks coming
The main reason for our trip: the Cardinals & Eagles game. Here is the stadium as we were walking up to it:

Sad days for us, the Cardinals won and are going to the Superbowl. It was a fun game though, since the Eagles dominated the 3rd quarter that made us believe they could win it. They couldn't keep it up though, and the Cards scored in the final minutes.
We were able to stay with Theron's sister for the weekend. It was fun to see Bree, Greg, & Axton, who is just younger than Logan. We loved the nice weather and took a dip in their swimming pool. We didn't get any picture of the boys together, but they had fun playing together in Axton's sandbox.
Love to all!

Me and My Munny

So I thought that I would post an update on the Munny doll that I am working on. The project is nearing its completion and I am really pleased with the final results so far. There are also several pictures of Aiden making a b-day present for my mom. We let him cover his hand in paint and then press it on to a canvas. It was a cute idea and a pretty fun project. Needless to say Aiden had paint everywhere by the time he was done. Anyway, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Aiden and his paintbrush have been inseperable lately.

Some test run hand prints.

Aiden thougth that the black paint was pretty fun and he wanted to touch everything afterwards.

These are the hands on my Munny doll.

starting to paint the body.

Just the body, and some detail sketching on the pants.

The work station.

I added some highlites to the hair.

high angle so you cansee both the central and side hair highlights.

I'm really pleased with the way they have turned out so far.

Pants and the belt buckle, it is a Flash buckle hehehe!

Here are all the pieces together. I just had to finish the tie.

Parts and pieces.

Tentatively pieced together. I am really pleased wiht the way this looks.

Aiden and the Munny. He was laughing about how much it looked like daddy. he said all it was missing was a cape. Fortunately I actually have one. Ha ha ha!

This is the Zombie, or as I like to refer to it, the Mumbie.

The two together. Yes, the Mumbie is supposed to have one are that has fallen off.

I wanted the Mumbie to have a black and white Horror film feel to it. I think that it turned out pretty well so far. Just some shading work to do and I should be ready to clear coat! Yeah!

Aiden really likes them both.

Cheers,
Price
