It's a Small, Small World
So, a guy in our ward stopped us on Sunday to say that he met my grandma. He's a fireman/paramedic and said that he was called to her house when she fell. He said that she was sitting in a chair in the foyer and looked up at Grandma's wall of pictures. He pointed to our picture and said, "That's Greg and Emily." Grandma explained that I was her granddaughter. He asked if she broke anything, and was amazed that she broke her hip and had to have surgery. He said that she was walking around and she insisted that nothing was wrong. He said he was pushing on her hip with quite a bit of pressure, and she said that it didn't hurt. Greg explained that she gets her drugs from Mexico, and they both agreed that she was well-medicated. Seriously...she may have the highest tolerance for pain of anyone that I've ever met!
