A New Post

I keep checking this thing to see if anyone has updated it and decided I might as well be the one. We are currently in Sacramento, CA, selling security systems. Theron is doing really well and is enjoying the guys in the office. I get to stay home and play with Logan all day which is a nice change. Iwas planning to get caught up on my scrapbooking, but I accidently left it in Idaho. Happily, I will be returning in a couple weeks to attend my cousin's wedding. I am hoping that, even with all the new baggage restrictions, I will be able to get it here. Hope everyone is having a good summer!

Random request: It seems like there has to be a better way to feed Logan than 4-6 jars of baby food every day. He doesn't really like a ton of texture yet, but we're willing to try. Any suggestions/ideas?

two kilts and a skirt plus one

We are soon to be adding a kilt or skirt to our family tree-- we'll know sometime in June what BABY #2 is! It is due the first week in November, making me about 15 weeks, and we're all very excited! Sorry it took so long to break the news, I wanted Price to do something cute, but it is the end of the school year, so you know how it is. Plus, I put two announcements on my blog and none on the family blogs. Pregnancy? Anyway, that's all the news for now!
love Sarah, Price, Aiden and baby Hamilton

Linz in DisneyWorld

Well, Lindsay has been in Florida for almost a week now. She has sent us a couple of photos. She is working in the largest Disney store in the world. I think she might be having a good time. (Those are Legos in the first picture)

Theron's graduation

Theron graduated from the Brigham Young University-Idaho Nursing Program this weekend. Thursday night was his 'pinning' - a program tradition, and Friday was his commencement and convocation where Elder Ballard presided. He thought that would be lame, but as the graduates marched into the auditorium Elder Ballard and the entire faculty cheered them on. Theron felt pretty special. Now he has time to relax and study for the ATI and NCLEX, two exams he has to pass to actually become an R.N.

To Heidi

This is really just a comment about one of Heidi's posts on her personal blog. I tried to leave a comment, but it wouldn't let me so here you are:

Heidi, he is so cute! I found a some all natural drops that helped with Abby's tummy and digestion. Ity looks like molasses (or thick prune juice if you're being positive) but I think it's called Little Tummies. It always helps and I can just add a few drops to her bottles or squirt it in her mouth and I like that it's natural so I don't feel so bad. Also, we learned at Apple Juice is not so good for constipation, because of the pectan or something, but White Grape Juice does the trick!

PS- Those of you without kids, i'm sorry. But our life does now revelove around sleeping, pooping, and eating. :o)

Slice of Paradise for Sale

I wanted to put this out there - not sure if there'll be any takers but it's worth a shot. On April 17th, Christin and Steve and Potato are moving back to the mainland. I'm also visiting that same time for about 2 or 3 weeks. So from April 17th to about May 8th our house will be empty. If anyone would like to stay on Maui for $50/night let us know. We'll have a car here for your use, too. Plus use of my surfboard, Steve's bodyboard, any snorkel gear here have lying around, free internet... you get the point. Anyway, I think it's a great opportunity for anyone who hasn't seen Maui (not to mention I can recoup some of my rent while I'm away).

Kauai

We just returned from the most glorious week in Kauai. My parents took us to Oahu 12 years ago, and I really liked it then, but I LOVED Kauai. I completely understand why Jeff and Chris live in Hawaii. I found myself thinking, "Is there any way we could make a living here?" I discovered that I loved the remote atmosphere of this island, where we just went exploring and found great hikes and beaches. I have a complete run-down of the week on my blog if you want to check it out (it's really wordy, but there are more pictures). Besides the amazing scenery and hikes, some highlights of the week were snorkeling, helicopter ride, scuba diving, the zip line, and just being together (no kids!). It was so nice to just wear the "wife" hat and leave everything else behind that falls under the "mom" hat (chauffer hat, maid hat, nanny hat, chef hat, bum-wiper hat; I think you get the idea). A HUGE thanks to my parents, mother-in-law, and Lisa for taking on all the responsibilities. It was just heaven!

Snow in Maui

It's been uncommonly rainy and cold this past week. Tuesday morning I woke up to go paddling and saw the snow atop Haleakala. It was so funny to drive along the highway and see all the cars stopped on the shoulder and cameras hanging out the windows - it was big news for a day or two. In some ways it was a lot like the torrential rain we had not long ago. Everyone started conversations the same way for a couple of days - "Did you see the snow!?" In Makawao where I work it's pretty much been raining nonstop, so I guess if I gotta work it might as well rain (tax season is officially in full swing).

So yeah, this post is to complain that it's raining and getting down to about 65 degrees at night. Don't you feel sorry for us?

Other than that there's not much news to report. Chris and Steve are planning on moving back to Utah in April, Steve's almost done with masssage therapy school, there's a friend named Potato living with us right now and he's having a blast here. He's never been outside Utah before, so I like to think we've expanded his horizons a little bit.

Anyway, that's about it for now. But no news is good news right?

Brownie Recipe

Emily, Lexy, & Aunt Linda couldn't get enough of these brownies and asked for the recipe. I will warn that they turn out a little different every time, but are always good. (Bake in a 9x13 pan)Enjoy!

We're still here!!!

Hello everyone. We thought we'd post a few Christmas pictures!

As you can tell we had a fun Christmas. Josie still thinks this toy puppy will come to her if she pats her legs.

Also, Ed put our home on the market. Crazy huh?

We've been thinking about it for a while and then last thursday someone broke into our house and stole a bunch of our stuff. It was really sad and upsetting, but we're getting things worked out. But that made Ed call our realtor and list our home on Saturday. We'll see how that goes. it's not really a good time to be selling.

So remember to lock your doors and windows!!!
Love,
Ed, Annie, and Josie

A hole in the ground

Last year Theron and I bought a piece of land in the hopes of building a house. We were going to wait until next fall to build it until someone suggested we do it now. That was in late November. We thought we would just get things lined up so we would be ready in the fall, but we found an eager contractor and despite the snow and cold temperatures, we broke ground yesterday.
The hole in the ground makes everything very real. The next few months are going to be interesting, that's for sure. I'll post updates on here, but I'll be going into more detail on our blog: theronandheidi.blogspot.com

Coming Soon to a Baugh Family Near You...

"BABY BAUGHH THE SEQUEL"
Coming July 2008
In a Select Room at Jordan Valley Hospital Only
Don't miss the sneak peak the first week of February
Since we told our families yesterday I guess it's safe to post a little more publicly. We are expecting! That's right, Abby will soon be a sibling. My due date is July 4th (which both sides of our family just loved!). We like Max and Ruby as names and both agree on them so we'll be excited for anything when we find out in February if our new addition will be a boy or girl. YAY!
Also, I posted the same note on my Blog. If you would like to look at it it's curtisandlexy.blogspot.com. It does require a password so if you can't get in just email me and I'll add you to the permissions list. Thanks!

Christmas Card?

I was a little crazy with wortk up until Friday and I didn't get around to doing Christmas cards this year. So, here is a digital attempt to make it up to you all.

Peek-a-Boo...Merry Christmas to You!
